A Listening Ear
There are times when we can become burdened with concerns that affect ourselves or others that we care about. At
such times it may be helpful to be able to talk over such concerns with someone who doesn’t know you or your
situation.
St. Lawrence’s offer you an informal opportunity to drop in for a cuppa, and to chat about anything that is
concerning you. Two people from our Pastoral Care Team are available to be ‘A Listening Ear’ in the Church Hall
Quiet Room on the 1st Thursday of each month between 10am & 12noon, and on the 3rd Thursday between 6 &
8pm. Whatever is shared will be kept in confidence. There will be the opportunity to receive prayer if you wish to
do so.

If it is difficult for you to get to ‘A Listening Ear’, a member of the Pastoral Team will visit
you at home at an agreed date and time.
